Day 1 : Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
You will be met by the guide who will pick you up from JKIA or from your hotel or from your residence at 8:30 am. You will embark on your safari to Lake Nakuru National Park, passing by the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you will have a stopover for a breathtaking view. You will proceed to check in at the gate and enjoy a game drive towards the lodge.Upon arrival at the lodge, check-in, have your lunch and enjoy an afternoon siesta.Lake Nakuru National Park is an ornithological site with a recorded number of about 400 species of birdlife.It is also a breeding ground for both the black and the white rhinos with an array of various wildlife species. At 4:00 pm, you will have an evening game drive to return to the lodge at 6:30 pm, for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 : Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
After an early breakfast, you will depart for the most famous park and leading tourist attraction in Kenya, the Maasai Mara Reserve. This day, you will have a scenic drive through the vast rich, fertile land of both small scale and large-scale farmers. You will have a stopover at Narok and later on proceed to check in at the Maasai Mara entrance gate. You will driven to the camp arriving for lunch. After checking-in, you will enjoy your lunch and relax. At 4:00 pm, you will depart for the evening game drive and return at 6:30 pm for dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3 : Maasai Mara
After an early breakfast, you will have an extensive game viewing drive on the rich studded plains of the Maasai Mara with a chance sighting the Big Five animals of the savannah and a variety of other wildlife species. The big cats are usually active before the break of dawn providing the best chance to see them as they wander in the plains. Later return to the camp for lunch and rest as you enjoy the camp facilities. At 4:00 pm, you will depart for yet another evening game drive to return to the camp for dinner and overnight. (Optional activity) Hot Air Balloon rides in the Maasai Mara give a highlight to this amazing safari package. The adventure will begin just before dawn on the first orange rays of the sunlight as it breaks the darkness. The flames from the burner of the hot air balloon glares through the morning crisp air as the pilots inflate the balloons. Floating over the rich studded plains of the Maasai Mara is an evocative adventure, sighting different species of wildlife on a bird’s eye view. At the end of the flight, all passengers enjoy a special treat of champagne breakfast in the bush. After the sumptuous breakfast, the pilot issues a flight certificate. You later enjoy a game drive as you head towards the camp
Day 4: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Unbelievable but true, you have reached the last day of your much awaited Dream Safari. It’s time to reflect back and relish every moment and every experience on your safari. After breakfast, you will be driven back to Nairobi Hotel of choice or Carnivore restaurant for lunch and later be transferred to JKIA to catch your flight. Optional: Transfer from Sarova Mara to Keekorok airstrip to Wilson Airport in Nairobi and later be transferred to JKIA for your international flight. Distance: 240 km / 5 hours
